Cartoons are Dangerous

           

    It is amazing how destructive things as innocent as cartoons could be.  These cartoons were shows that kids were watching that said using this language was OK, even though it was clearly not.  These cartoons are racist, offensive, and simply not right.  By allowing these cartoons to be in everyday media, all that is happening is that these stereotypes are becoming embedded in culture.  This is dangerous because it allows these racist terms and actions to become casually used and become almost natural.  This cannot happen because it leads to institutionalized racism.
